  • There may be trouble ahead....behind...all around...so whats new?

The latest Stripper News is we're on a hiatus while Kyle recovers from a bizarre holiday accident where he broke his hand. We were recording the album so thats on ice until he's back and fit again in a week or two...

There's talk of a 'Children on Stun' reunion gig...ourselves at the project along with the legendary Simon M line-up...it's only talk at the moment but everyone wants to do it...so it might actually happen 16 years after we split up.....chaos rides again, i think!

    That's it for now.....

  • A retun Home

Well its a couple of days before we play St Mary's in the Castle in our home town of Hastings 28th June. It's in aid of the vicitms of the Old Town fire that happened last month. We're on stage 2 by all accounts at around 9.30pm if all goes well. It's £5 on the door. The whole night goes from 6pm until midnight with a wide range of music. it's not age restricted, I believe.

Im especially nervous about it as I havent played Hastings for nearly 20 years and we're attempting 2 new songs and a cover [which we wont get a chance to rehearse before we try it].

    What could possibly go wrong....?

The album is going well, we like to take our time with these things, but I should think it'll be ready in the next month or two....

  • Artwork

We've very kindly been allowed by Ella Guru [one of the founding members of the Stuckist art movement] to use her painting 'Goodbye Columbus' as our front cover for 'Living Fractures'....We're honoured and eternally grateful...

  • Return to the Midlands and London

Well shows 7 and 8 happened over the last week. We want to thank all those who spent their hard earned money getting to and getting in to the gigs....Its always appreciated.

Nottingham [The chameleon Bar] was a bizarre affair with the band having one of their slightly muted nights..maybe due to illness or travel or messed up chakras or wonky ley lines, i dont know......Although meeting up with long-time friends more than made up for it...TSP want to thank In Isolation and Last July for being so lovely as always...and especially Ryan for putting the whole thing on and treating us so well....thank you!

London [Hope and Anchor] saw the band back to their chaotic best, high highs, low lows and plenty of head-scratching moments in between...Cryogenica and Anniversary Circle played a blinder and all everyone seemed to have a great time...Again, thanks to those who made the journey...

So as the band have cleared the decks and re-start recording that was halted due to illness and 'life' so news will appear here as that happens....

    Speak to you soon

    Big Kiss

    Missing you already
